Wolfson, MBA Certified Public Accountant Partner Mr. Wolfson received his Bachelor of Science with honors from the University of Florida in 1976 and his Master of Business Administration from Tulane Graduate School of Business in 1978. He worked as a Senior Manager at Deloitte f/k/a Touche Ross & Co. for 9 years where he performed audits of both public and private entities in a variety of industries. He was also closely involved with initial and subsequent public offerings. He performed numerous reviews of both public and private entities considered for acquisition and/or merger by his clients. Mr. Wolfson then became First Vice President of Citizens Federal Bank, a $5 billion dollar financial institution. During his 8 years with the bank, he was involved with financial/SEC reporting, secondary marketing activities, REO’s, and mergers and acquisitions.  Mr. Wolfson continues to be involved with banking and as such, has served on the Board of Directors of Florida Bank as well as the Board of Directors of Mercantile Bank.  Both banks were multi-billion dollar publicly traded financial institutions. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.       Gladys Gomberg Certified Public Accountant Certified Fraud Examiner Partner Mrs. Gomberg received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Nova Southeastern University in 1995 and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University in 2002. She began working for the firm in 1996.  During this time, she has been extensively involved with litigation support and forensic accounting as well as corporate tax planning and complex foreign and domestic tax compliance. She is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.   Ira Kiltok  Partner Mr. Kiltok received his degree in Political Science from SUNY Binghamton in 1978 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Mercy College in 1984. Mr. Kiltok holds a license in Life, Health & Annuities.  Mr. Kiltok joined the firm and became a partner in 1989, bringing with him years of experience in the private and public sector, along with depth of consulting experience and expertise. Mr. Kiltok has become the firm’s lead partner in quality control and in that capacity he ensures the highest quality work product in the industry.  Mr. Kiltok is also the Senior Vice President of Insurance & Annuity Consultants, Inc., a firm which specializes in advanced tax strategies.    Stephanie Birkholz Certified Public Accountant Senior Accountant Mrs. Birkholz received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and her Master of Accounting from the University of Florida Fisher School of Accounting in 2010. She graduated with the highest honors, Summa Cum Laude. Mrs. Birkholz garnered tremendous experience at Deloitte in their Lead Tax Service department, preparing partnership and corporate returns. Mrs. Birkholz specializes in corporate consolidations, financial statement reconciliations and projections. She has experience in tax return preparation, as well as researching complex tax issues.        Mark Halpern MBA, FNATP Senior Accountant Mr. Halpern received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and his Master of Business Administration in 1981 from the University of Houston. Mr. Halpern brought to the Firm over 25 years experience in both the public and private sector accounting. Mr. Halpern has extensive experience in corporate and personal tax compliance issues.     Nicole Wolfson Supervisor of Bookkeeping and Payroll Services Ms. Wolfson began working for the firm in 2007. During this time, she has specialized in mobile home parks, restaurants, and convenience stores. She has extensive experience in bill pay, direct deposit setup, live payrolls, after-the-fact payroll, and sales tax. Ms. Wolfson has administrative knowledge in converting a firm to paperless activities. She received her notary certification in 2011. She is currently attending Florida Atlantic University for her accounting degree.   Other Associates The firm maintains a full time support staff with well over a century of combined experience in all facets of accounting. We maintain a full time payroll department that processes "live" payroll for nearly 60 corporations on a weekly, biweekly and monthly basis.
